The temporal trend calculated here is a simple linear fit of the natural logarithm of the concentrations versus time. For more detailed trends analysis of the IADN data, please refer to IADN peer-reviewed publications.
t½ (Halving time): number of years for the concentration of a chemical to become half of what it was at the beginning.
t2 (Doubling time): number of years for the concentration of a chemical to double its value at the beginning.
NS (not significant): The rate of change is not significantly different from zero, i.e. it is inconclusive whether the quantity is increasing or decreasing over the given time period.
